Four ways we protect every donation
Verified creators
Every campaign creator must complete identity verification before withdrawing funds. We confirm legal name, address, and a government-issued ID.
Secure payments
Donations are processed by a regulated, PCI-compliant payment provider. We never see or store your card details on our servers.
Active fraud monitoring
Our review team and automated systems flag suspicious activity. Campaigns that violate our policies are removed and funds are returned to donors.
Global standards, local laws
We follow data protection regulations including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and LGPD (Brazil). Your data is yours.
The rules
Clear policies, fairly enforced
Donor protection
- If a campaign is found to be fraudulent, donations are returned in full.
- You can dispute any donation through your bank within the standard chargeback window.
- Donor information is never sold or shared with creators or third parties.
Creator responsibility
- Creators must use funds as described in their campaign story.
- Material changes to the campaign goal or beneficiary must be disclosed in updates.
- Misrepresenting facts, beneficiaries, or financial need leads to immediate removal and may be reported to authorities.
Prohibited campaigns
- Anything illegal in the creator’s country or the United States.
- Campaigns promoting violence, hate, harassment, or discrimination.
- Misleading medical, financial, or political claims.
- Content that exploits minors or vulnerable people.
