My name is Amy and I am asking for your support to help Antonio fight Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – Let’s Give Back to the Man Who Makes Portobello Restaurant Feel Like Home!

If you have been to the Portobello Restaurant in Sao Martinho, then you know Antonio. He has worked there for the past 4 years and his warm welcome, his incredible smile, and his great sense of humour has a special way of making every guest feel at home, turning a simple dinner into a fantastic experience.

For us, Antonio has become family and he needs our help.

Antonio is 61 years old and has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer of the blood. He will receive his treatment plan on April 15th, and the months ahead will be very difficult as he focuses on his health and fighting this disease.

Despite everything he is going through, Antonio still shows up with the same smile, the same kindness, and the same positive spirit that everyone who knows him appreciates so much. Anyone who has met him knows how strong he is — but even the strongest people need support sometimes.

We are raising €5,000 to help Antonio with medical expenses, travel for treatment, and everyday living costs while he is unable to work as much as usual.

Antonio has given so much to this community through his kindness, his humour, and his big heart. Now it’s our turn to give something back to him.
